Robotech Robolinks Blockman

Robotech Roboblocks a.k.a. Blockman,

Takara actually made this toy and oddly enjough, Revell marketed the toy in the United States.

The idea behind the toy line was to create a 5 cm "Block" of diecast as the modular toy core.  Around this core were modular accessories like radar dishes, guns, and fins, similar to the Tomy Zoids toy line.

Note that some of the Japanese Blockman toys made it to Europe and were branded under the "Combination Warrior Blockman" branding.
