Poseidon Shogun Warriors
Description
This Shogun Warriors Poseidon is the first version. It features a chrome ring around the head (dark plastic later), wheels and fold down tracks (fused and inoperative later), and tilting missile launchers (fixed up in later versions).
Early version 1 Poseidon toys have this green styrafoam insert. Also, many of the version 1 toys were stocked with six missiles in the tray. Box art shows early version of the Shogun Warriors toys on back.
The final version of Poseidon had an X-tip shaped missile.

Thanks for the quick write-up, I am starting to collect some of the older die-casts. I like the 5" and larger versions.
No problem at all. This was my first chogokin toy as a kid. It was "removed" from the household once there were all the safety scares in the U.S. :(
