Gadgetmobile Car
Description
The Gadgetmobile represents that toy that should have made it to the U.S. but didn't. Go Go Gadget Car! In this Case Bandai was used to produced a toy for the French market, then also the British Market.
The series was a co-production between DIC Entertainment in France and Nelvana in Canada; the animation work was outsourced to foreign studios such as Tokyo Movie Shinsha in Japan and Cuckoo's Nest Studio in Taiwan. So it makes sense that the toy Gadgetmobile was made in Japan and sold in France. The design and missile firing toy didn't make it state side.

Great toy! The M.A.D. Mobile is awesome also.
Actually, a version of Gadgetmobile DID make it to North America. However, it was not marked Bandai (Galoob I think), and the missile firing function was removed for safety reasons. It is less desireable for this reason, so can be had cheaper than the Euro release.
-Didn't know this! I've NEVER seen a U.S. version.....thanks for the info. LMK too if the box looks the same.
