Apolon Header DX BP-24 by Bullmark
Description
This is Apolon Header, from the 1976 japanese anime series
UFO Diapolon (ＵＦＯ戦士ダイアポロン, UFO Senshi Dai-Apolon).
This Bullmark deluxe version of Header is pure heavy metal!
Made nearly entirely out of diecast, with rocket firing action in his
chest & fists, "shoulder-blades" etc. Together with his 2 brothers
(Trang & Header) he could combine to Diapolon. These guys came
in individual boxes and a very rare (today very expensive) Gasshin Set.
This is the blue "export" box. Normally Header comes in a green box.
Like his two other brothers, Trang & Legger, he has very funky
action features. Here you could see his "shoulder-blades" ...
...and his blade-firing-fists.
Here is Header with the "combined" Diapolon.

Awesome gallery! It always surprised me that the combined version was not that much larger than the separate bots. I guess I'm just used to combiners that use more components of the originals, rather than just the legs, etc. But that doesn't detract from these toys in the least bit. These things are probably heavier than most of the larger combiners! Bullmark doesn't fail in providing "the beef" - DIECAST!!!!
