Popy of Japan created a masterpiece in this particular diecast battleship. The Yamato series of anime has a legendary following from legendary work. The Deluxe, DX, Popynica toy picture here is considered the best vintage rendition.
At least in diecast, this was the most detailed Yamato toy with exacting paintwork and exacting casting. The toy fires missiles, has a display stand, opening wings, and escort ships.
