Bull-Gator

Diecast Missile Launching Transformer from Japan

Nippon Animation Company 1977

Bull-Gator literally looks like part Alligator and part 70's robot. It is one weird duck, sporting a magnetic face (gasp), four fists, for to six swords, yellow chest missiles, and roller skates! The toy is surreal.

Let us not forget the missiles the fire from the fold down chest plate. This design reminds me of the later Tetsujin 28's chest missile design, only here we have an earlier toy from around 1978.

As with most Japanese toys from the 70's, Bull Gater's box graphics are classic and overdone. I love the action robot pose with the hero driver beside.
