Mazinga Z Prototype of the Eternal Heroes toy
Recently I had the good fortune to acquire a prototype Mazinga Z similar to the newer reproductions. You can notice that the head was manufactured with the bright white plastic/nylon and that the seams in the legs are quite pronounced. My guess is that this represents a prototype of the newer Hong Kong fake of Mazinga. The joints are old and worn out but the look comes from, my guess, the older worn out molds.
All Popy Markings appear to be authentic and the lettering is exact. This remastering is thought to have come before the new Soul of Chogokin robot line.
