I never knew of a Voltron 2 cartoon in the United States. There was a cartoon for Voltron 1 and Voltron 3, but what about this toy? Now that I have lived past the 80's and done some research, I recognize that Voltron 2 was actually from an "Abegas" toy series. In this Japanese series we also had specialized white robot ships that are known in the U.S. as "Godaikin Albegas spaceships." Weird. I can only guess that the original Japanese anime had too much violence in it for the violence sensitive U.S. The Japanese version of the deluxe toy had an assortment of three chromed swords with jagged projections.
