CyKill Super Gobot or Big Machine Robot 01

Kids of the 1980's will remember this trouble making motorcycle as the Renegade (bad guy) leader CyKill. In the American Show "Challenge of the Gobots" he was the most feared robot in the galaxy. In Japan this toy was part of a wildly successful series known as Machine Robos, and known as BMR-01 (Big Machine Robo).
GoBots aired from 1984-1986.

Character of Cykill Renegade Leader
One great quote from I was able to look up described his anime character this way:
"Under his command, the Renegades have conquered GoBotron on several occasions and endangered several other worlds. Usually a calculating menace, he is occasionally prone to violent fits of rage. When a plan is successful, however, his arrogance can reach dangerous levels. Though a capable strategist and fighter on the battlefield, this flaw will often break a mission. Although he holds humanity as a whole in contempt, CyKill has used human allies, most notably Dr Braxis, to further his sinister goals."
 
   
  
Above are the transformed BMR-01 in Motorcycle mode. Note that this is a Supergobot or BIG machine robo and is larger than his small cousin MR-01. This toy is about 3 times the size of the normal gobot. |
