Have you heard of the TV. series Power Rangers, Bismark, Oh-Ranger, or the robot L-Gaim?

No? No worries. Bandai has a few (understatement) toy lines you may recognize-- Soul of Chogokin, Banpresto, Godzilla, Macross, Power Rangers, Digiman, Godaikin, and the branding Chogokin. Big Red is a corporate behemoth and the toy equivalent of Godzilla frothing and stomping around in toy stores around the world. Whatever Bandai does it does to perfection and brings to bear an army of exacting Japanese engineers. Look and see how many products now carry the red Ban-Dai square on the box.
