Lexin Inc. Tin Robots at Toy Fair New York.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in the 1950's and see tin robots sold for under $100? Well it was like peering into a time machine as I walked towards Alex Dong of Lexin Inc. and his tin toy display.

Tin toys grew out of the cupboards and overflowed in every direction. Look below at the pictures of a modern incarnation of Tetsujin 28 in tin. On the left of the display were old Japanese style animals and "cute" toys. Then to my center and right were incarnations of the hard-core vintage robots. Thunder Robot , Astro Scout robot, Tank bots, and space tank reproductions glistened in the background. Alex came over and greeted Josh and I as my eyes glazed over.

Lexin Inc. is a wholesale toy dealer based in Los Angeles CA. The business can be contacted on www.lexin-nicestuff.com or www.lexin-metalmania.com for new products for sale.

Thank you Alex for posing for a photo op. I happen to love the Russian style robot that you are holding and think that robot-japan members will like it too. Good luck with your ventures!
